What therapy can look like
General information, not medical advice. Your therapist will tailor the plan to you.
Some worry is part of life. Anxiety is different when it starts to decide what you do: the calls you put off, the places you avoid, the nights you lie awake running through what could go wrong.
In therapy we look at what sets the worry off, what keeps it going and what your body does when it rises. You’ll practice skills between sessions, at a pace that feels manageable.
Most people come for weekly 50-minute sessions at first. Your therapist will check in regularly about how it’s going and adjust the plan with you.
