Insurance
Plans we bill directly
Each therapist’s profile lists the plans they take. Before your first visit, call the number on your insurance card and ask about outpatient mental health benefits, your deductible and prior authorization.
Aetna
In network
We bill Aetna directly. You pay your copay or coinsurance at each session. Check your mental health benefits with Aetna before your first visit.
BlueCross BlueShield
In network
We bill most BlueCross BlueShield PPO plans directly. HMO plans may need a referral from your primary care doctor first.
Cigna
In network
We bill Cigna and Evernorth behavioral health plans directly. You pay your copay or coinsurance at each session.
UnitedHealthcare
In network
We bill UnitedHealthcare and Optum behavioral health plans directly. Some plans need prior authorization after a set number of sessions.
Out of network (superbill)
Out of network
If your plan has out-of-network benefits, you pay our fee and we give you a monthly superbill to send to your insurer for partial reimbursement.
Other ways to pay
If you’re not using insurance
Out of network and superbills
If your plan has out-of-network benefits, you pay our fee and we send a monthly superbill with the codes your insurer needs. Many plans reimburse part of it.
Sliding scale
Our associate therapists offer a sliding scale from $70 per session for self-pay clients. Ask about it on your free call. No paperwork is needed to request it.
HSA and FSA cards
You can usually pay with a health savings or flexible spending card. Check with your plan administrator if you’re not sure what’s covered.
Cancellation policy
24 hours’ notice, one free pass a year
Please cancel or reschedule at least 24 hours before your session. Late cancellations and missed sessions are charged the full session fee. We waive the first one each calendar year, because life happens. Insurance doesn’t cover late cancellation fees.
