Accessibility statement

Last reviewed October 24, 2026. A sample statement for a fictional practice.

We want everyone to be able to find a therapist, read about our fees and reach us, whatever device or assistive technology they use.

Template note

For template buyers: describe the testing you’ve really done and any tools you add. Only state a conformance level you’ve checked, and update the review date whenever you change the site. This is not legal advice.

Our goal

We aim for this website to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. We review the site when we make changes and fix problems as we find them.

What we’ve done

Text and backgrounds meet a contrast ratio of at least 4.5 to 1, and body text is at least 16 pixels.

Every page works with a keyboard, with a visible focus outline on links, buttons and form fields.

Motion is gentle, can be paused, and stops for visitors who ask their device to reduce motion.

Images have text alternatives, form fields have visible labels, and pages use a clear heading structure.

Known limitations

If we link to outside tools, such as an online booking system, they may not meet the same standard. If anything gets in your way, call us and we’ll help you book by phone.

In our offices

Our Harborview office has a step-free entrance, an elevator and accessible restrooms. Our Orchard Hill office has a ramp and ground-floor rooms. See the About page for details, and tell us if you need anything else to make your visit easier.
